National AYUSH Mission

Objective of Scheme

  • Medicinal plants which are the important part of Ayush treatment Integrity, quality, efficacy and safety practices are now included in agricultural practices for the betterment of the medicines and it will also work as an option for the farmers and their income will also increase.
  • To enhance better and quality farming and to promote the Ayush practices at world level by revision of good farming and collective efforts. This will enhance in export of value added products like herbal extracts, phyto-chemicals, dietary supplements, cosmetics and AYUSH products will increase.
  • To help in establishment of processing group through agriculture convergence, storage, value addition and marketing and to create infrastructure for entrepreneurs and then establishment of units in these organisations.
  • To create and support certification methodology so that quality standard, better agricultural practices, good collective efforts and good storage practices could improvise.
  • To promote partnership, convergence and synergy between stack holders who are working at national, regional, state and sub state level for research & development and processing in private and public sector.

Name of Program

  • Under medicanal plant area expansion program various crops like- Rauvolfia serpentina, Ashwagandha, Brramhi, kalmegh, Kaunch, Satavari, basil, aloe vera, sweet flag and Artimishia’s area expansion program will done.
  • Post Harvest Management- Construction of godown storage and drawingshade will be done for post harvest program in private sectors.

Permissible grant itemized

  • Rauvolfia serpentina:- 50% (of payable fund) Rs. 45753.00 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.91506.25 per hectare
  • Ashwagandha 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 10980-75 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs. 36602-50 per hectare.
  • Brahmi 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 17569.20 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs. 58564.00 per hectare.
  • Kalmegh:- 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 10980.75 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs. 36602.50 per hectare.
  • Kaunch:- 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 8784.60 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs29282.00 per hectare.
  • Satavari:- 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 27451.80 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.91506.25 per hectare.
  • Basil:- 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 13176.90 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.43923.00 per hectare.
  • Aloe vera:- 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 18672.20 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.62224.25 per hectare.
  • Sweet flag 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 27451.80 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.91506.25 per hectare.
  • Artimishia:- 30% (of payable fund) Rs. 14622.25 has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.48741.25 per hectare.
  • Drawingshed:- 50% (of payable fund) Rs. 5.00Lac has been made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.10 lac per unit.
  • Storage Godown:- 50% (of payable fund) Rs. 5.00Lac will be made in respect to unit cost amount of Rs.10 lac per unit.

The eligibility criteria for applicant

  • Do online registration on website www.upagriculture.com to attain agricultural scheme profit.
  • Beneficiary should have its own land in land revenue records.
  • Beneficiary should have adequate irrigation resources.
  • Beneficiary should have bank account and check book.
  • Beneficiary should be capable of bearing expenses other than granted money under beneficiary scheme.
  • Beneficiary should have Voter identity card/ Ration card/ Adhar card/ passport for identity proof.
  • Beneficiary should have interest in the program and should also know the basic technical knowledge of the program.
  • Beneficiary would be entertained on first come-first take policy.

  • Rauvolfia serpentina: Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- fresh root 100 kg. Per hectare
  • Ashwagandha:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 8 to 10 kg. per hectare
  • Brahmi:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 100 kg. per hectare
  • Kalmegh:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 450 gm. per hectare
  • Kaunch:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 9 to 10 kg. per hectare
  • Satavari:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 2.5 to 3 kg. per hectare
  • Basil:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 1 kg. per hectare
  • Aloe vera:-Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 5000 kg. herbs/circus per hectare
  • Sweet flag:- Maximum are- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 74074 circus of roots per hectare
  • Artimishia:- Maximum area- 2 hectare, quantity of seed- 50 gm. per hectare
