Beetle Development Scheme Under National Agriculture Development Scheme

Objective of the scheme:

• Improvement in the standard of living of beetle producers by enhancing the income
• To encourage the upgraded technics in beetle production.
• To increase the area of beetle farming.
• To promote scientific organic methods in disease and pesticide control. 
• To get improvement in grading, packing, storage, transportation and marketing.
• To enhance the opportunities of employment.
• To put a check on beetle producers from migrating to other areas.
• To make available maximum income and employment opportunities from per unit area.
• To increase the resources for quality beetle production.

How to apply -

To get the benefits of the scheme, applicant will have to register www.upagriculture.com.  Registration can be done through Jan Suvidha Kendra, Farmer Lok Vaani and Cyber Cafe.

Unnao, Rai Bareli, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Mahoba, Lalitpur, Banda, Azamgarh, Hardoi, Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Amethi, Prayagraj, Sitapur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra.

Construction of Pan Bareja

Head wise permissible grant -

Amount of Rs. 50,453.00 which is 50% of per Bareja construction cost for 1000 SQM farming of beetle of Rs. 100,906.00, is payable as grant/assistance to beneficiary farmer in his bank account.

Eligibility conditions for applicants:

• Applicant will have to online register them on the official website www.upagriculture.com to get the benefits of the scheme. 
• Applicants of all categories will be eligible under the program. Priority will be given to the women applicants and applicants belonging to scheduled caste/scheduled tribe.
• Beneficiary should have own means of irrigation.
• Priority will be given to the farmers having interest in the farming of beetle.
• Enclosing the land records with the application will be compulsory.
• Beneficiary farmer must have his own bank account.
• Beneficiary should have any one of the identity proof available among Voter Card/Ration Card/Aadhar card/Passport.
