Scheme Of Quality Control And Hygiene Related Awareness Training.

Introduction:

This scheme is to bring Good Hygiene Practices (G.H.P.), Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (H.A.C.C.P.) and awareness about hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness among skilled and un-skilled people who are working in manufacturing of food products and in dhaba, restaurant and food processing units and people who are engaged with sanitation work so that people get clean and hygienic food items. Such awareness program will be conducted at those places which have seating capacity of minimum 50 people. These may be schools, public places, community halls etc.

Objectives:

To impart training to skilled and un-skilled people who are working in manufacturing of food products and in dhaba, restaurant and food processing units about Good Hygiene Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Hygiene, Personal Hygiene, Sanitation and quality control by doctors and food processing experts. The objective is to motive such workers to prepare clean and quality food items.

Area of the scheme:

All districts of the state.

Eligibility criteria

All men and women will be eligible.

Selection Process:

Concerned Principal/Food Processing Officer/Fruit Preservation Officer would ensure participation of 50 trainees by publicizing the program through popular newspapers/banner/poster etc.

Duration of training:

Two days (5 hours daily)

Periodical progress:

Under this scheme, total 96 programs have been organized in the year 2017-18 and 4800 participants have been targeted to be imparted training.
